Wondering what to do? Here’s a quick guide on what you can do and how to use the site.

Site set up

Yossa site is split into three main areas - ideas, jobs and people - which allow you to add your business idea, search for or add a job and also add a skills CV. Yossa also boasts a section offering free advice on business ideas and how to get yours up and running.

Not registered?

The site is designed to be as simple as possible and you can search for a job without having to register. We work with other organisations that will put you in contact with pretty much every available job in the UK.

Adding a job

To add a job, you all you need is an email address to register. This is the one we’ll use to contact you if required. With Yossa, you can even add a barter job - where you swap your skills for something you want done! Money doesn't have to change hands at all!

Adding an idea

Once registered with an email address you can then add an idea, which is exactly that - your idea of something you think might make a good new business. You can add as many ideas as you like, and delete them and edit them as well.

When you add an idea, you can add in details of the sorts of people you might be looking for to be part of your team.

When you have reached a point with your idea, where you have thought it through enough, or maybe got enough feedback from people and perhaps found new people to join your team, then you will be able to ‘Make it Real’ at the click of a button, which allows you to link to a company that lets you start your idea as a limited company in the UK.

Yossa also allows you to look at other people's ideas, add your comments and suggestions, and perhaps join their team.

Adding a CV

Most people when they have registered may like to add their skills CV. This is a good idea as it means people can get an overview of what sort of a person you are, and what professional talents you have.
